Short Expiration Period, January 9, 2012

This is my second time ordering the One Touch Ultra Diabetic Test Strips because I was very pleased with them the first time, the expiration date was good, the packaging was in very good shape and they came right on time. I will be ordering them again. Wish you would carry the new strips.Thanks

When I received the strips (100), it was four months from expiry. Additionally it appears that not all strips were accurate. I had to go to WalMart and pick up a pack of 25 (expiry 18 months away) just so that I could have a reference. I found that none of the strips matched readings from my reference strip - they were consistently lower by about 10 mm/dl. I thought I was getting a bargain but ended up throwing my money away. In the end I cannot trust the reading from these strips and they will expire before I have a chance to finish them. I use only 2 per week which will take me well past the expiry date. I believe when dealing with medical items no one would intentionally purchase a product close to expiry so this was a very annoying fact for me. This is the last time I will purchase medical items online. I blame the seller for intentionally selling a product that is very close to expiry and the manufacturer for a product that does not deliver results before it expires. Of course...

Received these on Jan 9 2012 and they had an expiration date of 4/2012. Beware that they are selling 'soon to expire' products.
