I had to write this review based on the fact that my wife purchased this item to protect my classic 80gb iPod from sweat when I run or work out. I'm a 6'4", 250 guy and when I really get moving I stream sweat like a faucet. I do not feel confident enough to use my click wheel with this protector with wet fingers. (Sweat has already damaged my screen from lighting up -- separate issue, happened prior to purchase of this protector).***This item offers no coverage/protection to the two most sensitive areas the screen and the click-wheel.***I wanted something that while not waterproof which, I wanted something that made my iPod water resistant.Please do not get me wrong: If you need something for 1. light use 2. do not sweat like a hog me or 3. do not have to search, skip, or replay songs, while working out this protector maybe perfect for you.

I've looked all around for a iPod Classic 160/7G armband that I wouldn't have to constantly slip in and out of a protective cover and sport armband. I finally found this little gem, and it's been working out great for me. The silicone cover has 2 slots in the back that expose the back slightly to slip the armband through, but nothing an add'l screen protector placed on the backside of your iPod can't fix. I feel this feature is better than the usually belt clip that would attach to the armband. There is a lot less movement when running! It comes with a screen and wheel protector. A word of caution, make sure your skin oils are cleaned from the wheel before applying the protector or it may not stay on. Definitely would recommend this product to family and friends.

it's a good product. but the top of the shell can not cover the Ipod (160GB) completely. It seems that the shell is not big enough for a 160GB one.
