The idea was the best part of this gift. The letters were all smudged and I wondered why the writing wasn't the other way around. The hole to hang it was on the other end. Obviously this spoon is for displaying only and if you hang it, the writing is upside down. Didn't have time to return, it was an anniversary gift for my daughters 5th wedding anniversary. Fortunately the wooden tea box I also got them was very nice. I'm thinking they can just throw it in a cup to display it. I would have returned it and given instructions for the writing.

I don't know how to explain this but it's almost as if this spoon was hand cut but it's very smooth and the customized carving letters piece is so amazing! I could not be happier with my product! Ordered it for a Christmas gift 🎁 can not wait till he sees it!
